She stormed through Diagon Alley with her bag full of clothes and shoes and lingerie, fuming. Her sadness quickly turned to anger and, after tossing the breakfast she'd bought to a homeless man near the entrance to Knockturn, Tracey stomped all the way to her shop, hoping Daphne was there but no one else. When she arrived, she found she was pleasantly rewarded for her unpleasant evening. "He's a prat," She hissed as she turned the sign to read 'closed' outside, locking the door behind her. "The snob got in a piss at me for sleeping with Nott when he has naked women parading around all the time - and besides, I was there to apologize!" She all but yelled, not even giving Daphne a chance to get a word in to ask any sort of question. She was too angry!

It had been a quiet morning for Daphne she was currently straightening the racks of clothing and going over the orders from Milan when Tracey stormed in Daphne froze. Tracey could be downright terrifying when she was upset. The order was from the accountant Blaise had brought in one time, well it was for her anyway some attractive blonde man had come in and asked that dress be sent over, he wanted to propose and well Daphne loved a good love story and the ideals of romance had put her in a dreamy swirl, well until now anyway.
For a minute Daphne was unsure of who she was talking about, her mouth opened only to shut and then open again. ”You slept with Nott?” Daphne felt like she had heard this before. She starred absently at Tracey for a moment and sighed. Well that was the reason he was angry and it was a good one, she could have picked someone else. Then again Blaise could choose not to be a tosser. Daphne spoke up, thought quietly she had been a the pub that Blaise was at last night and saw him as he stumbled out of the bar. ”I don’t think he slept with her, her boyfriend was in, he’s proposing.” It was a weak offer of comfort. Daphne walked towards her friend and sighed, deciding that pointing out she had slept with someone else and thus if he had she didn’t really get to be too angry at him for it. ”Maybe once you both cool down it’ll be better and you can talk?” They loved each other, even if they refused to admit it.

"That's not the point, Daph!" Though that being said, the fact that Daph knew which woman was parading around naked was indication enough that there was a problem. "It's not the fact that I slept with Nott or that he did whatever he's doing; he wouldn't even listen to me - I went there with a peace offering and he said there's no way he's ever going to forgive me. And if that's the case there's no cooling down, and no getting better. Maybe it's about time I just gave up." Sadness to anger to sadness again. Resigned, Tracey leaned against the front counter, frowning at herself. She should have just gotten over him years ago.

When did Daphne become the voice of reason. ”How many times have you said you won’t forgive him or talk to him? How many times have you sent him out without hearing him out?” She sighed. ”He just found out, he may need time to process these things.” It wasn’t like they had cheated on each other but she figured it still had to sting just a little. ”You love him. You know that.” Which was her way of saying they would get back together again, this was just another episode of The drama that was Blaise and Tracey. ”I’m sure he’ll be around sometime soon with flowers and a necklace or something.” Though it would probably have to a really nice and expensive necklace.

And back to angry, though this time misdirected, she knew. "Since when are you his cheerleader?" She asked her supposed best friend. Daphne was, well... supposed to be on her side! "If he comes around," Which right now she doubted he would, "Send him away." This was said as a boss rather than a friend. Most of the time she considered Daphne pretty much an equal partner in her business. But right now she was fragile and instead of pushing her up Daphne was making her feel worse, which just made Tracey want to retreat to her office and hide.

”I was juist-I uh-“ Daphne sputtered, she was just saying. Apparently she was a terrible friend now. Looking at her feet Daphne nodded. She would send him away. ”I have to finish with the racks.” She said softly afraid to look at Tracey. She hadn’t meant to be a bad friend, it was just- this was just how they were Blaise and Tracey and she loved them both sure but she was tired of it they both loved each other and she was trying to be comforting by telling her that Blaise would come around, apparently she didn’t want to hear it. Apparently that was the wrong thing.
