ronald weasley strange maze, what is this place? i hear voices over my shoulder nothing's making sense at all. ronald bilius weasley. twenty. former gryffindor. has a huge family of five older brothers and one younger sister. afraid of spiders and sometimes can be frightened away but can face his fears when needed. a loyal friend and a protective brother. a decent guy to have around for a laugh or two.
wonder, why do we race? when everyday we're runnin' in circles such a funny way to fall. friends. is what he needs. he of course has his two best friends harry potter and hermione granger. but the boy could use other friends as well. he is a nice guy to hang around once and awhile. if you need his help he'll be there for a good friend. so if your character is in need of a friend ron is your man.
holdin' my clutch, even my heart wish we could start all over nothing's makin' sense at all. enemies. slytherins and death eaters would make good enemies. sometimes he is a little quick to judge slytherins. so if you have a slytherin im sure we can cook up a plot. or if you have a character trying to hit on hermione granger, ron won't be too thrilled with that.
if nothing is true, what more can i do? i'm still painting flowers for you. lovers. well, you can try to take his heart away, but it won't be easy. you see this department in his heart is already taken by miss hermione granger. but there can always be people that try to break him away.
when i wake up, the dream isn't done, i wanna see your face, and know i made it home. end notes. so come and plot with him and maybe lets start a thread or two.

I'm not sure what else I should say other than 'HI RON'... heh.
But, seriously... these two are friends, but I cannot help but wonder how it can go further than them just being like brothers. I mean, how does Ron feel about the time Harry and Hermione spent searching for Horcruxes? Is Harry still a threat? Are they as close as they were before?
That and Harry is slowly losing his grip on being able to handle himself in a world during peace-time. Simply, he's finding it very difficult to adjust. Since they work together, maybe Ron can help him out/however this Ron would respond to it? : )

I don't think Ron would really find Harry as a threat when it comes to Hermione anymore. It's been two years. And in the books I know that Harry said a line like ' she's like my sister' so Ron trusts that. But if Harry goes after Ginny? Or is with Ginny? I can see him being very iffy about that. He doesn't want him hurting his sister again. Even if the war is over.
And for closeness? Hmm. I don't know. I mean they work together so yeah. =P But like at night away from work Ron has kind of become a heavy drinker, during the day he tries to remain calm for everyone. But he lets out his own pain of losing Fred and friends at night. In which, Harry and Hermione know nothing about. He hides it rather well. But I could see Harry and Ron being a little distant possibly now because of everything that had happened.
Maybe a fight can break out where Ron sort of blames Harry for the death of Fred. like if Ron never became his friend or something. But in the end he really knows being friends with Harry is worth it and such. Maybe, the fight actually breaks out one night when Harry finally catches Ron drunk. I can see Ron become defensive.
And as for helping Harry out. He would during the day. Because during the day he tries to help everyone over come things. He acts like everything is just fine.

Harry is with Ginny, I think (from what I've worked out with her player, yes). As of right now, Harry is protective of her in a more subtle way, like asking her to be careful on the way to work and report anything suspicious... but I can understand where they can clash over her.
Ooo... you know, I enjoy that idea of him and Harry fighting. Harry's greatest fear now, after all, is that the guilt of those dying for him will consume him. And this happens to be the physical manifestation of that fear (best friend attacking him for it). Expect Harry to NOT be keen on Ron drinking his problems away (especially if he's not letting his family or Hermione know)... even though he won't be able to come up with a better solution himself.
This sounds like quite a bit of fun... if you have an idea for a thread (in all honesty, I'm looking more forward to the thread where they have a go at each other), do let me know!

You know i'm itching to start a thread with him. We could skip ahead already and have Harry catching Ron drunk one night at the Hogshead? Then later on Ron would have to try to get Harry to forgive him, and tell Harry he didn't mean it, among begging him not to mention it to his sister or Hermione. ?? Or we could just start with not having Harry know about his drinking yet, and have a day thread, at work, where Ron is trying to tell Harry to stop being so ' harry' like

THEO&RON Mkay, so Theo's dad and grandfather are currently in Azkaban for, yes, you guessed it, being Death Eaters. He was also a former Slytherin, so like you said, Ron is quick to judge and in Theodore's case he isn't going to be too far off from the truth, if not hitting it right on the head. Enemies, Theo has a bit of a grudge on Ron for playing such an instrumental role in the demise of Voldemort. However, while at work he is a professional, which basically means whenever they cross each other at the ministry Theodore would only insult him underhandedly. Outside of the ministry its free reign though, Theo is more likely to challenge Ron's intelligence than hex him or anything of the like.

theo & ron: yes. ron won't like the guy at all. i can see him throwing daggers his way passing him in work and such. and seeing as he was a slytherin and his family is in azkaban there is no way that ron will even really give him a chance. he isn't keen on anyone that anything to do with the battle and who were involved with voldomorts. he honestly feels they all deserve brutal deaths. and outside of the ministry seeing as it is a free battle field if theo gets on his nerves too much, ron is easily angered and will be quick to defend himself with a spell or two.

THEO&RON Goodie gum drops. A healthy spot of hatred does the plotting good.

ron/harry - hm... we could skip to where Ron is getting drunk, if that is okay with you? Harry's already got a thread at work with Neville and another possibly coming up with Theo Nott... the boy's gotta diversify! : )
Just let me know (perhaps you can start though, unless you don't want to), okay?

To interject here, Ginny will probably murder Ron if she ever finds out about his drinking or the fight that's going to happen. But she'll also probably murder Harry if he keeps something so important secret from her.
Just saying.

Astoria && Ron - Well, hi! This is Astoria, she was a former Slytherin, but is two years younger then Ron, so there's really no way the two will know each other from the past, unless he disliked her sister or something. But, she's quite a sweetheart and gets along with mostly everyone, but she does have a bad temper. Anyways, I think she'd end up running into him every now and then because she loves her alcohol, and she is broke as a joke, so naturally she goes to the Hog's Head. She'd see him and recognize from the stories of the war and think he was brave and handsome. o: Hahah, yes. Add/subtract; whatever you like!

Ron&Astoria:
I assume he wouldn't like Daphne. He was rather judgmental when it came to Slytherins. Now that he is older, and the war is over he doesn't care as much. He probably won't even think of the name thing as anything of her being related to Daphne. Seeing as he never spoke to Daphne in school and such, he wouldn't know. And, he might even 'relent' to her a bit in the Hogs Head. But, they could end up being drinking buddies and such.
